Silver “Witch’s Knot” Necklace – Blue Glimmer

Description

I made this moonstone necklace out of 925 sterling silver. In the center of the Witch’s Knot, I set a light-colored stone that catches a blue glint when viewed at just the right angle. One moment it’s barely visible, and the next it draws the eye.

Moonstone Necklace with a Witch’s Knot

The four openwork arms create a distinctive weave. Up close, you can see its irregular texture, tiny openings, and darker recesses accentuated by oxidation. As a result, the pendant offers many details to discover, even though its shape remains simple and symmetrical.

The Witch’s Knot is associated with protection. You can wear it as a personal symbol or simply because you like the combination of raw silver and the delicate glow of the stone. That small blue sparkle makes the necklace look a little different every time you move it.

Moonstone is a natural gemstone, so its appearance depends on the light and the angle from which it is viewed. I finish the pendant by hand, preserving the character of its irregular surface.
