Silver necklace with pink glow moonstone

This sterling silver moonstone necklace has a small, tranquil form. The stone shimmers a milky white with pink and blue highlights. In one light it looks delicate and pearly, while a subtle, luminous glow appears when moved. As a result, its color changes softly with each movement.

The natural structure of the mineral causes light to scatter within the stone. Therefore, the surface never looks identical – sometimes a cool blue appears, and at other times a more pink, pastel tone.

Handmade setting in silver

I hand-framed the stone in sterling silver. The simple, smooth frame emphasizes its natural drawing and delicate iridescence. Thanks to this, the whole piece remains minimalistic and calm.

At the bottom of the pendant I added small silver balls, which introduce a subtle decorative touch. This small detail balances the composition and adds a slightly decorative touch.

I finished the back of the pendant by hand and decorated it with a floral motif. Thanks to this, the necklace remains refined also on the underside.

The nature of the stone

Moonstone is known for a distinctive optical phenomenon called adularescence. It is what creates the soft, luminous glow visible beneath the mineral’s surface.

What’s more, the natural lines and structures within the stone are its natural characteristics. As a result, each piece has its own drawing and unique character.

That’s why a silver necklace with a moonstone remains a unique item – another identical stone practically does not exist.

A delicate form for every day

The stone is about 10.6 × 11.4 mm, so the pendant is small and very light visually. Its softly rounded shape sits well on the neckline and keeps the necklace subtle.

I hung it on a delicate chain made of sterling silver, so the whole thing will work for both everyday styling and more minimalist sets.

Each silver moonstone necklace is created by hand in my workshop and exists in only one piece.
