This sterling silver moonstone necklace has a calm, delicate form. The stone shimmers milky white with pinkish-purple and cool blue highlights. In one light it appears almost transparent, while after a while a soft, luminous glow appears. As a result, its appearance changes subtly with each movement.
The natural structure of the mineral makes the light scatter inside it. Therefore, the stone never looks identical – sometimes a cool blue dominates, and at other times a soft, pearly glow appears.
I hand-framed the stone in sterling silver. The simple, smooth frame emphasizes its natural texture and calm colors. Thanks to this, the whole piece remains minimalist and elegant.
I finished the back of the pendant by hand and decorated it with a subtle floral motif. As a result, the necklace is also refined from underneath – even where jewelry usually remains invisible.
Moonstone is known for a distinctive optical phenomenon called adularescence. It is what creates the soft, luminous glow visible beneath the mineral’s surface.
What’s more, the natural lines and structures within the stone are its natural characteristics. As a result, each piece has its own drawing and unique character.
That’s why a silver necklace with a moonstone remains a unique item – another identical stone practically does not exist.
The stone is about 18 × 10 mm, so the pendant is small and elegant. Its slightly irregular shape gives the composition a natural character, while it fits well on the neckline.
I hung the necklace on a delicate chain made of sterling silver. Thanks to this, the whole thing remains light and comfortable to wear, both on a daily basis and in more minimalist styling.
Each silver moonstone necklace is created by hand in my workshop and exists in only one piece.
