This opal ring was handcrafted from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. First, I shaped the setting in wax, allowing the structure to develop freely and intuitively. As a result, the form is neither perfect nor symmetrical, but organic and full of natural breaks.
The setting resembles a rock surface, tree bark, or natural stone veins. Instead of smooth lines, there’s a texture that gives the piece a raw, authentic character. As a result, the ring looks like an object found in a wild forest – genuine, unembellished, and deeply rooted in nature.
At its center, I set a natural, unpolished Australian opal. The stone has a milky-blue base, with delicate blue reflections appearing in the light.
