I made this silver ring with lovers of unique jewelry in mind. In the center I set an Australian opal with an unusual square shape. The stone has a milky background, and under the light it shimmers red, green and blue. Sometimes there is also a flash of orange. It resembles a starry sky or a fairy tale nebula.
I hand-framed the sterling silver 925. I gave it a raw texture to make it look more natural. The ring has an irregular surface. It looks as if the ring already has a history – like a find from a long time ago.
Opal is a stone of intuition and emotions. It helps to look inside oneself and has a protective effect. It enhances creativity and gives courage.
