Delicate light captured in stone

This silver moonstone necklace catches the eye with its subtle pink-blue sheen. In one light, the stone appears softly pink, in another, cool blue and delicate violet emerge. This is natural adularescence, the luminous effect characteristic of this mineral.

The stone’s surface doesn’t give a sharp shine. Instead, it reflects light calmly and deeply, making the whole piece look light and elegant. Every movement changes the color intensity, and the jewelry presents itself slightly differently each time.

I set the stone in 925 silver. A simple, smooth frame highlights its structure, while small silver beads at the lower edge add a subtle detail. I hand-finished the back of the pendant and decorated it with a delicate botanical motif, so it remains refined from the back as well.

The pendant measures 35 x 15 mm (with bail). This size makes the necklace distinctive yet still proportional and comfortable to wear. It works well with simple, everyday outfits as well as more elegant attire.

The character of moonstone

Moonstone has long been associated with calm and intuition. However, regardless of symbolism, what matters most is the light that appears within it. The pink-blue sheen gives it softness while ensuring the jewelry doesn’t go unnoticed.
