Silver Moonstone Necklace with a Luminous Glow

This moonstone necklace has a slender, elongated form and a calm, slightly ethereal character. At its center is a natural moonstone with an irregular, elongated shape. Its surface reflects light in delicate shades of blue, pink, and milky white. Because of this, the stone changes its appearance depending on the light and the angle from which it is viewed.

The natural structure of the stone causes light to scatter within it. As a result, a soft, luminous glow appears on the surface. This optical effect is called adularescence, and it is what makes moonstone appear as if it is glowing from within.

Moonstone Necklace – Handcrafted Setting

I set the stone by hand in 925 sterling silver. The smooth frame emphasizes its elongated shape and allows the natural structure of the mineral to remain the main focus.

Above the stone, I added a small decorative element with a plant-inspired motif. This detail introduces a subtle texture and gently refers to the natural character of the jewelry.

At the bottom of the pendant, I attached a small silver feather. Because of this, the necklace moves gently while being worn and gains a sense of lightness.

The back of the pendant is finished by hand and decorated with a subtle botanical pattern.

Moonstone

Moonstone belongs to the feldspar group. Its structure contains thin layers of minerals that reflect light and create its characteristic glow.

Natural lines and fine internal structures are typical features of this mineral. Because of this, each stone looks slightly different and has its own unique pattern.
