I designed this necklace to capture the transience of light – the one that appears unexpectedly and lights up the day like a flash of intuition.
In the center of the composition I placed a natural labradorite of intense color – a stone that constantly plays with its surroundings. It shimmers with purples, pinks, blues and golds, changing depending on the angle of view. It attracts the eye and invites you to look deeper.
I handcrafted the setting from sterling silver, maintaining its simple, elegant lines. The soft shapes of the teardrop form harmoniously harmonize with the organic drawing of the stone. I wanted the necklace to be not only aesthetically pleasing, but also full of symbolism – to not only adorn, but also support.
