Silver ring pink tourmaline “Rose drop”, r. 15,5

The silver pink tourmaline “Rose Drop” ring, size 15.5, is created from the very beginning in my studio – from wax, which I melt with a soldering iron and drag, letting it flow and create organic shapes. This stage is always the most intuitive. The wax can behave quite differently every day, and I follow its movement, drawing out the fine twigs and natural lines from which the setting is later created. I don’t use molds or serial castings. Each ring is born only once – from one hand gesture and one melting.

When the wax model gains character, I turn it into silver. This way, all the details, curves and “twigs” that were created in the wax carving process are already preserved permanently. This ring looks as if it grew naturally – like something between a forest spider weave and a delicate rose stem that wraps the stone.

In the center of the fixture is a pink tourmaline. It’s a stone full of warmth, with a raspberry hue that can change the intensity of light depending on the angle of view. Once it looks more pink, once it looks deeper red, as if it had a spellbinding drop of sunset inside. Pink tourmaline is associated with tenderness, heart and emotional balance – which is why many people treat it as a talisman that brings soft, supportive energy to everyday life.

“Drop of Rose” is a subtle yet expressive ring. It is lightweight, comfortable and perfect for everyday wear. Its organic form makes it look beautiful both solo and accompanied by thin rings.
