When I started working on this silver ring rock, I didn’t have a ready-made plan. I entered the carving process with openness and tenderness – I let what wanted to appear guide my hands on its own. Every texture, every crack – they came naturally. I did not correct them. But where the ring meets the skin, I smoothed the form – to make it wearable with pleasure.
