“Star Drop” ring with moonstone, r. 14,5

The silver moonstone “Star Drop” ring, size 14.5, is created from scratch in my studio – from liquid wax, which I melt with a soldering iron and drag, letting it form its own organic lines. This is my favorite stage of work, because the wax never behaves the same. Once it flows like mist, other times it drags like caramel and then these sharp, star-shaped shapes are born, which later turn into silver. This makes each ring unique. No two “Star Drops” are the same.

When the wax mold takes on character, I turn it into silver, preserving all the fine streaks, bumps and lines that were created during the creation process. This ring has a texture that resembles a tiny star or a small flare of light – something between cosmic dust and an ice flake. This is an effect that cannot be achieved with classical modeling. Here every stroke of the soldering iron stays in the material forever.

In the center of the setting shines a moonstone that likes to surprise. One moment it shines a cool blue, and a moment later it turns into a pink or purple glow. It reacts to hand movement and light, so the ring lives with you. The moonstone has long been associated with tranquility and intuition – that’s why many people wear it like a small talisman, which adds gentleness and balance.

“Star Drop” is lightweight, comfortable and sits perfectly on the finger. Its organic form makes it suitable for both everyday styling and more magical evening ensembles.
