A silver ring with a labradorite, size 15, featuring a long, slender stone and an elaborate setting. When held up to the light, the labradorite reveals a violet hue that transitions to a cool blue in places. Thin, dark lines run across its surface, and closer to the center, a subtle golden accent is visible.

This stone immediately drew me in with its shape. It has two pointed ends and resembles a narrow leaf. Add to that the muted purple, which becomes much lighter when held at just the right angle. It’s a bit like the last colors in the sky before it gets completely dark.

Silver Around the Stone

I framed the labradorite with a textured silver border. Along its edges, you can see tiny indentations and protrusions, and six irregular tips overlap the stone. Their polished surface stands out clearly against the darker recesses of the setting.

On the sides, the silver branches out into shapes resembling twigs. I left gaps between them so you can also see the pattern from the side. The details continue onto the band, so there’s something to admire from every angle.

I like the combination of the slender stone with the wider sides here. The center is elongated and neat, while the silver around it flows more freely. The subtle irregularities of the setting complement the lines visible in the labradorite.

How does it look on the hand?

The stone measures 26.5 × 9.55 mm, so it’s long and narrow. It sits along the finger, and the silver sides add width to the entire ring. It’s a striking design, and its proportions are best seen in the photos on the hand.

You can wear this size 15 silver ring with labradorite on its own or pair it with simple silver wedding bands. I like it best on its own, when you can clearly see both ends of the stone and the openwork sides. It will go perfectly with black, gray, or dark purple.

Labradorite changes its appearance depending on the light. From one angle, you’ll see more purple and blue, while from another, the stone will appear darker. That’s why it’s worth checking out the entire gallery to see it from different angles.

If you like elongated rings, cool colors, and silver with forest-inspired details, you might like this one. There’s a lot to take in, from the fine lines in the stone to the texture of its setting.
