I made the black tourmaline necklace “Under the Night Sky”<\/strong> as a more contrasting version. Still peaceful, but with more character. <\/p>\n

In the center is a piece of black tourmaline. I left it in its natural form, so it has its own texture and is not perfectly smooth. This makes it look more raw and real. <\/p>\n

There are small stones all around – rock crystal, topaz, labradorite, iolite, sapphire and onyx. They are lighter and darker, so the whole thing is not uniform. It’s a bit like the night sky – it’s not “flat” black, there’s just something going on there. <\/p>\n

I assemble this black tourmaline necklace<\/strong> by hand, stone by stone. No two identical pieces are created, because each arrangement comes out a little differently. <\/p>\n

Black tourmaline necklace – raw form<\/h2>\n

On the neck it sits close and stable, but not heavy. It has a calmness to it, but it is not delicate in an obvious way. Rather, it’s such a quiet touch that only becomes apparent after a while. <\/p>\n

About the stones<\/h2>\n

The stones I used in this necklace are natural, so they may vary in color, texture and clarity. They are not perfectly even – and this is what makes each piece look a little different. <\/p>\n

I select them so that together they form a coherent whole. Even small differences matter and affect the final effect. <\/p>\n
