Lilac Aurora – Silver Ring with Moonstone – Size 15

Description

Silver ring with a moonstone, size 15, featuring a large, elongated teardrop-shaped stone measuring 29 × 13 mm. In the photos, the stone displays lilac and pink tones along with a blue sheen. I set it in textured silver with openwork sides and six polished tips.

Here, the stone is the first thing you notice. It’s long, light in color, and has plenty of detail inside. You can see fine lines and intersecting layers that become more distinct when held up to the light. What I like best is the moment when a cool blue illuminates its lilac surface.

Irregular silver

Around the drop, I created a silver frame with subtle recesses and ridges. Its edges are textured, allowing you to examine each fragment closely. The darkened recesses highlight the light stone, and the polished elements reflect the light.

Six silver tips encircle the drop on both sides. Each has a slightly different shape, ranging from more pointed to gently rounded. They are arranged in three pairs along the stone, leaving its center exposed.

I left irregular cutouts on the sides. You can see the skin through them, and the silver details continue into the band. This means the setting has a lot to offer even when viewed from the side. The photos taken at an angle best show its depth and how the individual parts come together.

How does it look on the hand?

The stone measures 29 × 13 mm, so it’s one of the larger teardrop-shaped stones in this collection. It sits along the finger and takes up quite a bit of space. The silver sides further widen the overall shape, which is why the ring stands out clearly on the hand.

You can wear this silver moonstone ring, size 15, on its own or pair it with simple wedding bands. I like it best on its own. With such a large stone, it’s best to leave a little space around it so you can see the entire setting.

Bright colors stand out nicely against black, but they also go well with gray, cream-colored knits, and muted purple. The photos showing the ring on a hand are the best way to gauge its size, while the close-ups reveal the pattern inside the stone.

The glow changes depending on the light and the viewing angle. You won’t see blue or lilac reflections in every shot. It’s worth checking out the entire gallery to see a few different views of the same drop.
