This sterling silver moonstone necklace was inspired by the soft light of the moon, the pastel hues of dawn and the subtle forms of nature. The centerpiece is a faceted moonstone with a soft pink-blue glow, which beautifully reflects the light and changes its character with every movement. Beneath it, I suspended a drop of rose quartz, which gave the whole piece an even more ethereal and romantic atmosphere.
I made the necklace by hand from sterling silver. The organic form resembles intertwining twigs or forest roots, so the jewelry looks like a small talisman taken out of a fairy tale world. Every detail and texture was created by hand, and the oxidized silver highlights the structure and delicate shine of the stones.
