Description

The ring with a pink moonstone—Moon Bud—is a more delicate design, but it definitely has its own character. At its center is a round moonstone with a pink base and a beautiful blue sheen that appears when you move your hand.

I designed the setting to resemble a blossoming bud. Irregular silver petals surround the stone and flow into an organic, sculpted band on the sides.

I crafted the entire piece by hand from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. First, I carved a model out of jewelry wax; then I created a silver casting; and finally, I set the stone and finished all the details.

Pink moonstone

What I like most about this stone is how much it changes depending on the light. One moment it’s mostly powdery pink, and the next, a cool, blue-violet shimmer appears on its surface. You can see this change clearly in the photos, but in person, even more happens with every movement of your hand.

Every moonstone is a little different—it has its own reflections, color transitions, and natural inclusions. That’s why there’s only one “Moon Bud” ring. You’re buying the exact ring you see in the photos.
