Silver Ring with Blue Labradorite – Noctis quantity

Description

The Noctis silver ring with labradorite is set around a large, faceted marquise-cut stone. The labradorite is quite dark, but when it catches the light, it reveals an intense blue sheen.

I made the setting out of 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. It has an irregular, organic, and openwork design, with details resembling twigs entwined around the stone.

This labradorite can look completely different depending on the angle. Up close, it appears dark and smoky, but when moved, it reveals blue and navy blue highlights. The faceted surface further captures the light and highlights the natural lines visible within the stone.
