Necklace with natural moonstone – 925 silver

Description

I handcrafted this necklace with a natural moonstone from 925 sterling silver. The stone immediately catches the eye with its intense blue glow, which appears in the light and changes with every movement.

What makes it truly unique are its natural black inclusions. They form an irregular pattern, which is why the stone looks a bit like a fragment of the night sky or a small landscape encased in silver. This gives the necklace a very distinctive character, yet it still feels elegant and light.

I designed the setting so that it wouldn’t cover the stone, but rather highlight its natural shape. The silver gently wraps around the edges, and the tiny prongs hold the stone securely in place while adding an organic feel to the piece.

Every moonstone is unique, because nature never creates two identical minerals. Therefore, inclusions, fine scratches, and variations in transparency are not flaws, but natural characteristics of the stone.
