Lunelle Silver Necklace – Moonstone quantity

Description

I crafted the Lunelle silver moonstone necklace from 925 sterling silver. The center stone has a vivid shimmer in shades of blue, purple, and warm pink that changes depending on the light.

Below it, I hung a faceted drop of natural rose quartz. Its light, delicate color complements the pink highlights visible in the moonstone.

I set the main stone in silver and surrounded it with irregular, openwork twigs. I darkened part of the silver with an oxidizing agent to better highlight their shape and fine details.

The rose quartz moves when worn and catches the light on its faceted surface. The entire necklace is quite large and striking, but the light-colored stones make it look more delicate than versions with dark labradorites.

Moonstone and rose quartz are natural stones, so they may have visible lines, inclusions, and minor imperfections. I finish each piece by hand, so the texture and patina of the silver may vary slightly.
