Copper necklace with Ethiopian opal

Description

A copper necklace featuring an Ethiopian opal, crafted from a genuine Xylocopa caerulea. Its unique form has been preserved in copper through electroforming—along with its delicate wings and all its fine details.

In the center of the bee, I placed an Ethiopian opal that shows different colors with every movement—ranging from green and gold to pink and red hues. There are two small moonstones on the wings.

This is definitely one of the most extraordinary necklaces I’ve ever created. Part forest talisman, part otherworldly creature. Raw, magical, and impossible to recreate in exactly the same form.

I made and finished every piece by hand. Only one was made.
