This labradorite and feather necklace has a slender, lightweight form. The stone shimmers in garnet, purple and cool blue. In one light it appears darker, while when moved it reveals lighter reflections. As a result, its color changes subtly with each movement.
The natural structure of labradorite makes the surface react to light. Therefore, the stone never looks identical. Sometimes a cool blue dominates, other times plum or dark blue reflections appear.
Handmade setting in silver
I hand-framed the stone in sterling silver. The simple, smooth frame emphasizes the natural drawing of the mineral and its iridescence. Thanks to this, the whole piece remains calm and elegant.
At the bottom of the pendant I hung a delicate silver feather, which gives lightness to the composition. This small element moves with every movement, so the necklace gains subtle dynamics.
I finished the back of the pendant by hand and decorated it with a subtle floral motif. This allows the jewelry to remain refined on all sides.
Sleek form and comfortable to wear
The stone is about 25 × 10 mm, so the pendant is slender and elegant. The vertical shape sits well on the neckline and optically lengthens the neckline.
I hung the necklace on a delicate sterling silver chain, which goes well with the minimalist form of the pendant.
Each labradorite and feather necklace is created by hand in my studio. Therefore, this model exists only in one copy.
