Silver Ring with Moonstone – Nyx quantity

Description

The Nyx silver moonstone ring has a slightly more raw, bold character. At its center, I’ve set an oval moonstone that appears delicate and milky-pink at first glance, but reveals a strong blue sparkle when held up to the light.

I made the entire piece from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. The band is wide, heavily sculpted, and full of irregular details and open spaces. Its elongated shape makes the ring sit really nicely on the hand.

The moonstone here is smaller than the ones in the Lunaria or Vesper, but it certainly doesn’t get lost in the setting. With every movement, a cool, blue-violet glow appears on it, which contrasts sharply with the raw silver.
