Silver Ring with Moonstone – Asteria

Description

The Asteria silver moonstone ring is designed around a large, geometrically cut moonstone. The stone has a delicate milky-pink color, but when moved, it reveals a truly intense blue and purple shimmer.

I made the entire piece from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. The setting is irregular, heavily carved, and somewhat rough, which creates a nice contrast with the light-colored, luminous stone.

What I like most about it is the shape of the stone itself. It’s unusual and changes slightly depending on the angle from which you look at the ring. Inside, you can see its natural structure and inclusions, and the blue glow extends across a large portion of the surface.

Only one Asteria ring was ever made. You are purchasing the exact ring you see in the photos.
