Description

A silver ring with a labradorite, size 15, featuring a long, slender stone and an elaborate setting. When held up to the light, the labradorite reveals a violet hue that transitions to a cool blue in places. Thin, dark lines run across its surface, and closer to the center, a subtle golden accent is visible.

This stone immediately drew me in with its shape. It has two pointed ends and resembles a narrow leaf. Add to that the muted purple, which becomes much lighter when held at just the right angle. It’s a bit like the last colors in the sky before it gets completely dark.

Silver Around the Stone

I framed the labradorite with a textured silver border. Along its edges, you can see tiny indentations and protrusions, and six irregular tips overlap the stone. Their polished surface stands out clearly against the darker recesses of the setting.

On the sides, the silver branches out into shapes resembling twigs. I left gaps between them so you can also see the pattern from the side. The details continue onto the band, so there’s something to admire from every angle.

I like the combination of the slender stone with the wider sides here. The center is elongated and neat, while the silver around it flows more freely. The subtle irregularities of the setting complement the lines visible in the labradorite.
