Moonstone Necklace – Whisper of the Moon.

Description

I made the “Whisper of the Moon” moonstone necklace with something very lightweight in mind. One that doesn’t immediately catch the eye, but stays on longer.

In the center is a drop of moonstone. It has a soft, slightly milky interior and gently reflects light. It’s not perfect and that’s what’s most beautiful about it.

There are small stones all around – rock crystal, topaz, rose quartz, smoky quartz and hematite. Each a little different, so the whole is not “equal”, but more alive.

I assemble this moonstone necklace by hand, stone by stone. I don’t make two the same, because it wouldn’t work anyway.

On the neck it fits close, is lightweight and comfortable. One that you can wear every day, but continue to feel that it is something special. It does not dominate the styling, but complements it.

About the stones

The stones I used in this necklace are natural, so they vary in color, clarity and texture. They are not perfectly even – and this is what makes the whole thing look more lively.

I choose them so that together they form a coherent composition. Even small differences matter and affect the final effect.
