Description

This ring with a pink moonstone immediately catches the eye with its subtle play of light. I handcrafted this ring from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. First, I sculpt a model out of jewelry wax; then it is cast in silver; and finally, I set the stone by hand and refine every detail. That is why each piece has its own unique character, and no two rings are exactly alike.

I like it when jewelry looks natural, which is why the setting has an organic form inspired by shapes found in the forest. It isn’t perfectly symmetrical, and the slight irregularities are the result of handcrafted work. They’re what make each ring unique and give it its own distinctive character.

How was the ring with the pink moonstone made?

I create each model by hand from scratch. Using the lost-wax method, I’m able to achieve soft, organic lines that cannot be replicated in mass production. I then set the stone by hand, cut and polish the entire piece, which is why each piece is one of a kind.

Natural moonstone captivates with its play of colors. In daylight, it may appear delicate and milky, but under stronger light, pink, blue, and purple reflections emerge. It is this play of colors that makes a ring with a pink moonstone look just a little different every time.
