Silver ring with moonstone 14.5 – Veil of Dawn

Description

This silver moonstone ring looks a bit like a small artifact found somewhere in the woods or in an old casket. The slender stone is surrounded by organic silver details, and the whole thing has a slightly dark, but still very delicate character.

The moonstone has a subtle pink base, but under the light there are cool blue reflections and a milky glow. As a result, the ring changes depending on the viewing angle. Once it looks calm and soft, and a moment later it reflects the light more strongly and attracts the eye.

I made the ring by hand from sterling silver using the lost wax method. First I create a model in wax, and only then the silver casting is created. As a result, each detail has a more natural form and does not look perfectly symmetrical. It is these small irregularities that make the jewelry look more lively and have their own character.

The stone measures 10.8 x 7.5 mm. Despite its softer size, it catches light very well, so its glow is visible even with subtle hand movement. The setting resembles tangled twigs or thorns, making the whole thing look a bit fairy-tale-like and organic.

This is a single piece, so the exact ring from the photos will go to the new owner.
