Silver ring with labradorite – Marea quantity

Description

The Marea silver ring with labradorite is centered around a large, faceted marquise-cut stone. Depending on the light, the labradorite shifts from darker, muted tones to vivid blue, turquoise, and greenish flashes.

I crafted the setting from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax casting method. It is wide and heavily openwork, with an irregular texture and open spaces on the sides. Thanks to this, despite the large stone, the ring doesn’t look heavy on the hand.

Here, the stone itself definitely steals the show. Its faceted surface catches the light at different angles, and the color changes with virtually every movement of your hand. You can also see the natural lines and structure of the labradorite inside.
