Silver Ring with Moonstone – Vespera

Description

The Vespera silver moonstone ring is set around a large marquise-cut stone. In softer light, it appears delicate and milky, but a slight movement of the hand is enough to bring out a vivid blue-violet glow.

I crafted the entire piece from 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax method. The setting is quite elaborate, heavily sculpted, and full of irregular details, but thanks to the open spaces on the sides, it doesn’t look heavy.

Ring with a large moonstone

Here, the stone definitely plays the leading role. Its elongated shape fits beautifully on the finger, and a blue shimmer can appear across almost its entire surface.

Inside, you can see natural inclusions and the structure characteristic of moonstone. Every change in light brings out slightly different colors from it.
