Sylvara Silver Necklace – Labradorite quantity

Description

I handcrafted this Sylvara silver necklace with labradorites from 925 sterling silver. In the center, I set a large natural labradorite with a blue-green sheen, and below it I suspended a second, faceted stone.

The main stone’s setting is surrounded by irregular, openwork twigs. I darkened part of the silver with an oxide finish to better highlight their shape and all the fine details.

The lower teardrop moves when worn and catches the light at different angles. The labradorite in the stones can appear intensely blue at one moment and more green or golden in different light.

This is a larger, statement necklace that looks best worn on its own. The chain is 42 cm long and includes an additional 3 cm extension.

The labradorites are natural, so they may have visible internal lines, inclusions, and minor irregularities. These are not flaws, but natural characteristics of the stone. I finish each piece by hand, so the texture and patina of the silver may vary slightly.
