Avelune – Silver Crescent Moon Necklace with a Pink Sapphire

The Avelune crescent moon silver necklace is crafted from 925 sterling silver. Its form was originally sculpted in wax and then cast in silver. The irregular surface and darker, oxidized indentations emphasize the pendant’s organic character.

I set a natural pink sapphire in the center. The small, faceted stone has a pinkish-purple hue and clearly catches the light, making it stand out sharply against the darker details of the silver.

Handcrafted silver crescent-shaped necklace

Avelune is part of the Moon Whisper series, inspired by the moon, the night, and natural forms. I wanted the crescent moon to be neither perfectly even nor geometric. It has a slightly rough, irregular surface and slender ends, making it resemble a small talisman more than a classic symbol of the moon.

This silver crescent-shaped necklace is small and comfortable to wear every day. You can wear it on its own or pair it with other delicate chains.

I finish each piece by hand, so the texture of the silver, the oxidized indentations, and the shade of the natural stone may vary slightly from piece to piece.
