Silver ring with moonstone 13 - Lunar Fang quantity

Description

I handmade the silver ring with the moonstone “Lunar Fang” from sterling silver. It has an organic, irregular form inspired by thorns, roots and fangs, so it looks a bit like a fragment of a dark forest story encased in silver.

The centerpiece is a faceted moonstone measuring 21.8 x 10.8 mm. It shows an intense blue glow in the light, and in addition, subtle pink and milky reflections can be seen. As a result, the stone changes its appearance depending on the angle of the light and attracts attention with almost every hand movement.

This sterling silver moonstone ring has a distinctive, artistic form, but still remains visually light. You can wear it as a single stronger accent or combine it with more delicate jewelry. In addition, the organic setting emphasizes the natural character of the stone and makes the whole look raw, ethereal and a little dark at the same time.

The ring was created using the lost wax method. First I created a model in wax, then it was cast in silver and finished by hand. As a result, each detail has its own texture and character. Importantly, this is a single piece, so no second identical model will be created.

Moonstone has long been associated with intuition, tranquility and feminine energy. Its shimmering glow is reminiscent of moonlight, which is why it has appeared for years in jewelry inspired by nature, fantasy and mystical motifs.
